Marriage Intensive Therapy Program

Most couples are used to the standard model: one hour a week, week after week. But for many people, that pace starts to stall. Sessions can turn into weekly “catch-up,” and real momentum gets lost. Over time, therapy can bog down—not because you’re not trying, but because the structure makes it easy to stay on the surface.

Intensive Therapy/Coaching is different by design. It’s a distinct process, not just “more sessions.”

Longer, closely spaced sessions create the time and continuity needed to work through issues in real time. Clients often find there’s less room to dodge what matters, and more opportunity to move from insight to actual change.

This accelerated format can help couples move through problems that would otherwise drag on for months (or years). Turning points—what Dr. David Schnarch called “crucibles”—tend to happen faster when you have enough time and support to stay with the hard parts instead of postponing them.

An Intensive isn’t a magic bullet. But if you’re ready to buckle down and deal with long-avoided issues, it can be one of the most effective ways to make your effort count.

Hi! I’m Dr Corey Allan

Faith-Friendly. Not Formulaic.

Many of the couples I work with are Christians who love God and each other—and are still struggling. You’ll find that I take Scripture and spiritual growth seriously, but I don’t offer pat religious answers or “pray it away” advice.

Instead, we’ll explore how your faith can anchor real change: deeper honesty, better boundaries, and a more wholehearted way of loving.
